“Specialty Non-Sterile Compounding”
At Bulloch’s Drug, we offer Specialty Non-Sterile Compounding. Pharmacy compounding was the standard for preparing medications prior to the mass production of drugs seen today. However, we argue that compounding remains relevant as we have combined an ageless art with today’s technologies.
Ongoing training coupled with state of the art equipment enables Robbie and his team of compounders to create a new dose or dosage form of many medications not available from manufacturers. This tailoring is completed with the finest active and inactive pharmaceutical ingredients. Our team has the ability to make dosage forms such as: capsules, troches (a sublingual preparation), lollipops, oral liquids, topical liquids, transdermal creams, ointments, suppositories, vaginal preparations and more.
Bulloch’s Drug will work in coordination with your physician to ensure availability of the medication you need, in the ideal dose, in exactly the dosage form needed. Due to limited dosage forms and strengths produced by pharmaceutical manufacturers, most pharmacies in the Cedar City area are forced to make you fit in the box. However, at Bulloch’s Drug, Robbie and his team are able to make the box fit to you.
The Bulloch’s Drug team is serious about being on your team by working with you and your physician to ensure the best solution possible to your medication needs.
When Evan and Chris purchased Bulloch’s Drug in 1996, Chris bought out Susie’s interest and ran the business by herself. She transitioned away from a consignment craft business and moved to a retail gift and collectible type business. Chris began attending numerous gift shows throughout the country looking for merchandise that was attractive and affordable. When the economy hit a slump and the gift and collectible market slowed down, Chris made a calculated risk and turned her gift store into a boutique where she now sells women’s accessories, i.e. purses, scarves, jewelry, etc. This move allowed the business to survive and thrive during the downturn of the economy as well as continue to grow since then.
There are many repeat customers from all over the western United States that come to Cedar City to shop at our stores. Many patrons of the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Utah Summer Games, Neil Simon Festival and other venues make a shopping experience on Main Street in the three Vickers’ stores a must do stop.
